So, I just woke up from having a great weekend, where most of it was spent in Seattle (I live across the water). And if any of you are visiting, have friends/family visiting, or just want to find something interesting to di in the area, here are a few things for you to do:
1) The Space Needle - naturally. It has a rotating restaurant about 350 feet from ground level, and the observation deck is 520 feet above ground level. But if you're afraid of heights, don't worry, there are the standard 6 cables in the elevator, and 4 different breaks ready to go off at any minute, should all the cables snap simultaneously by chance.
2) Pike's Market Place - Great place to just walk around. Can't describe it, there's just SO much to see.
3) Clubbing - There's hundreds of different places to go clubbing in Seattle. And don't worry, if you're 16+ and want to enjoy this privilege of adulthood, they have The Diamond, which is an all ages club and is guaranteed safe with their dress code and thorough searchings.
4) The EMP (Experience Music Project) - Great place for people who love and appreciate music and its history. Some nights, they even hold dance sessions with a live/honored guest DJ in they're huge auditorium with Jellyfish-style lights above your head.
5) Pacific Science Center - After hours, they hold the world's largest and most artistic laser shows to some of the greatest bands. Just last night, I went and saw Daft Punk and Pink Floyd: The Wall laser shows. Daft Punk made me feel futuristic, and The Wall made me feel like I was slowly falling into insanity with the band themselves.
6) Last but certainly not least, the unlimited amount of shopping store inlets, marketplaces, and bars/restaurants throughout the entire downtown area. No need for my opinion here, there's just so much to see, with so little time.
Don't take my word to heart, though, until you've experienced all the great, hundreds of opportunities just waiting for you in Seattle. After last night, I was proud to say I'm from Washington after seeing all the great stuff we have to offer in Seattle alone! Enjoy your travel/stay/visit, and don't forget to take lots of pictures for memories and keepsakes. Keep reading for all the updates on your "How To's" for life.

How To: Avoid Procrastination
This one shouldn't be that hard, but for those of you (*cough cough* SHAUNA) who are horrible at being on time, or simply taking time for the things that need to be done, this blog is for you:
1) Prioritize. Understand that your task/project/assignment/etc. is much more important than any other small (or what seem vitally important at the time) thing could distract from what needs to be done.
2) Know your deadline. And by this, I don't mean understand when it is so you know how much time you can slack off with before you have it done. No, I mean to understand how much time you have between now and your deadline so that you can organize and plan specific time to have it finished.
3) NO EXCUSES. NO EXCUSES. NO EXCUSES!!! Nothing is more pathetic than coming up to your boss/teacher/parents/etc. with no work and nothing to show for it but your lame excuses. And believe me when I say that nobody likes a brown noser, so sucking won't get you anywhere!
That's all for today. Sorry so short.

How To: Avoid the Lonliness of Valentine's Day
If you're like me, and you don't appreciate being surrounded by the love-obsessed or the gloomy-downers of Valentine's Day, and you're sort of stuck between, this blog is for you.
So you're probably sitting around, wondering how to make this day as normal as possible with all these V-day fanatics/disbelievers on the street. Here are some good starters for you:
1) Get a group of your single friends together and go see Valentine's Day. Yes, it may be a romance/comedy, but you're not there to remind yourself how pitiful you are not having someone, but more to spend your time with the company of those who do love you- your friends.
2) When you're finished with the movie, go to lunch/dinner as a group. This will make you all seem/feel much more closer than any other couple out there today, believe me.
3) When dinner's finished, try hitting up a club, bar, hang out spot, etc. This will throw the fun parts of being single/alone out there, again, and possibly line you up as a possibility for all the other single guys/gals doing just the same.
4) When all your fun is done, stop by the grocery store, buy some flowers or candy of your favorite, sit down in front of the television with your favorite romance or comedy movie, and remind yourself that you are a strong, independent person.
With these four steps, I assure anyone a happy valentine's day, whether they have someone who's away, or is single and looking. Valentine's day shouldn't be about the gifts or the expression, but more about spending the time with the person/people who make you feel loved, whether that's friends, family, or just your cat and your t.v. Happy Valentine's, everyone, and the best to all you singles, taken, or lonely people out there today.

How To: Start a Blog
This one is for the unfortunate, computer-illiterate out there. Though, if you were that illiterate, you probably wouldn't be reading this to begin with. Either way, enjoy.
1) Choose your favorite/most common/popular blogging website.
EX: Blogger, Xanga, Myspace works occasionally, if you feel like putting up with the constant
changes, messages, friend requests, etc.
2) Create an account. I would hope I wouldn't have to spell this one out for you.
3) Begin typing away about your life, concerns, thoughts, opinions. Or, as many people see fit to do,
the nonsensical ongoing of YouTube videos/MTV Awards that have been the fads of the people
for weeks.
However you choose to do your blog, just make sure you're being safe, no matter what age you are. I recommend no addresses, phone numbers, etc. Unless you're looking for a date rape, in which case, all the more to ya.

Happy blogging, and keep reading for your daily "How To" survivals.
